Britannia Hotel Description

The Britannia Hotel is housed in a Grade II listed building, which dates from 1858 and was originally a cotton warehouse. A prime example of Manchester's architectural heritage, it boasts outstanding details, such as the sweeping staircase that dominates the lobby. Varying in size due to the age of the building, the 363 guestrooms feature slightly dated floral décor but have full facilities. The are reasonably well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s bars – “WAVE bar” and “bar-rogue” – are two of Manchester’s most popular meeting places. They offer food all day long at affordable prices, accompanied by great music and the best DJs. Add to these Jenny's Carvery, the restyled Pizzeria, or the traditional comfort of Crompton's French Restaurant & Bar, and you are truly spoilt for choice.
